Fly fishing Cape Cod for Striped Bass is a trip you cannot miss. White sand beaches, extensive flats, estuaries, salt ponds and even freshwater opportunities it has everything for your spring or summer vacation.
A typical day of guided fly fishing on Cape Cod will depend on the conditions presented. If the winds are down and the tides are right, there's no doubt we will be headed sight fishing on the flats. If the tide is not right on the flats, it is certain there is an opportunity elsewhere. The estuaries are usually good on an outgoing tide where all the nutrients are being flushed out. In the right conditions you won't be surprised to see dozens of concentrated Striped Bass feeding on the surface.
Other Cape Cod Fly Fishing Trips that we offer are night trips, evening trips, or morning trips. Whether it be in salt ponds for a cinder worm hatch or blind casting into estuaries these can be exciting times light by the moonlight or a beautiful sunrise.
All guided trips with Solstice will offer food and beverage options, the proper gear for comfort and safety, also an optimistic attitude. We want to have fun and be of your help on the water.
I must have to add, the importance of understanding that Cape Cod and its waters are a delicate, perishable environment. Even in the last few years, the pressure on Striped Bass has increased significantly. We will always practice proper fish handling methods and catch and release.
